Oh Boy: Emails Reveal That Top Hillary Aide Researched Drug Used to Combat Parkinson's and Alzheimer's, Then Passed Information on to Hillary
Ehhhh... this is kind of misleading but let's roll with it.
Sullivan, Clinton’s top foreign policy adviser, was researching the drug Provigil for Clinton at the State Department in 2011, the Daily Caller reported.
Sullivan emailed Clinton information on Provigil and told her about its use and history. Sullivan noted in an email that Provigil is used for narcolepsy and treating patients with Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and Multiple Sclerosis who have excessive sleepiness.
Sullivan also noted that Provigil is often prescribed to treat “excessive sleepiness in patients with Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s and multiple sclerosis.”
He stated that Modafinil–the drug’s original name–“gained attention in the medical community because it is the first effective stimulant with no significant potential for abuse” before explaining “it can be used for two to three day stretches at a time, with few known side effects and little risk of addiction.”
Eh... I've looked into provigil myself, when I was more concerned about my lack of focus after I quit smoking. (I've since given up trying to cure that, and have just accepted that I'm kind of dumb.)
It's also prescribed to improve alertness and sometimes to treat ADD-ish symptoms. It could be used to treat a whole host of diseases, so long as the symptoms include reduced focus and mental fatigue (which is many of them).
Still -- is the smartest woman in the world having trouble staying sharp and awake?
I know why my alertness declined: because I quit smoking.
Why did Hillary's suddenly fall?
Meanwhile, increasing chatter about Hillary's admitted medical condition, hypothyroidism.
By the way, the media is of course in Circle the Wagons mode around Hillary.
CNN's very liberal media critic (would they hire any other kind?) calls Sean Hannity's questions about Hillary's health "reckless."
And yet his colleague at CNN, Sanjay Gupta, has penned an article asking if Trump is at high risk for heart disease.
Will Stetler mention this? Of course not; the Guild knows its own and the Guild protects its own.
Thanks to a guy who sent this in but I don't know his screenname.
